We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our leadership team.
In this role, you will oversee the financial operations of our practices, including accounting, payroll, IT systems, and company administration. You will lead a small but dynamic team of two, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring compliance and financial efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial management, ensuring compliance with statutory and reporting standards.
Manage cash flow and credit, maintaining financial health across practices.
Collaborate with external accounting advisors on annual accounts and tax requirements.
Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Develop and maintain office systems and protocols in conjunction with your team.
Identify and mitigate risks, maintaining the risk register and business continuity plan.
Seek out growth opportunities and report findings to the CEO while managing new projects for maximum funding from the PHO.
Ensure effective IT system management, working closely with external support to maintain security and integrity.
Communicate regularly with staff to keep them informed about relevant changes and initiatives.
What you can bring to your new role:
Demonstrated experience as a Finance Manager or in a comparable leadership role within the health sector (desirable).
CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, possessing a deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of presenting complex financial data clearly and effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
